Frequently Asked Questions
-
Costs vary widely depending on whether you’re building new or resurfacing an existing court. Factors like base construction, drainage, crack repair, coatings, fencing, and accessories all affect pricing.
While every project is unique and site conditions play a large role, many new concrete pickleball courts in our region fall roughly in the $30k–$50k+ range from the ground up. We provide clear, realistic estimates after learning about your goals and evaluating your site.
-
Often, yes! With a few exceptions. Many existing tennis courts, pickleball courts, and asphalt or concrete slabs can be resurfaced if they are structurally sound and have the proper specs for a court. We evaluate cracks, slope, drainage, surface condition, etc. to determine whether resurfacing is a good long-term option.
-
The surfacing portion of a project is often completed within a work week once prep and repairs are complete. Courts that need extensive repairs will require a few extra days on the front end, and new construction projects typically take several weeks depending on site prep, weather, and curing times. We’ll give you a realistic timeline during the estimate process.
-
Hard acrylic courts are relatively low maintenance. Routine care includes keeping the surface clean, addressing cracks early, and monitoring for drainage or low spots. Many courts benefit from resurfacing roughly every 5 years or more depending on usage and conditions.
We also offer maintenance packages for crack treatment, cleaning, and general inspection to help keep your court in great shape with less hassle!
-
We use professional-grade acrylic sport coating systems designed specifically for court performance, durability, and consistent ball response. System selection depends on the condition of your surface and your performance goals. We also install cushioned court systems that reduce impact on the body and allow for longer, more comfortable play.
-
Modular court tiles can be a good solution in certain situations, though we do not install tile systems at this time.
Tiles often have a higher upfront cost with the benefit of long manufacturer warranties. They can be a practical option where traditional acrylic coatings are not feasible, however, pickleball and tennis players highly prefer acrylic sport surfaces for their more consistent ball response, traction, and overall playing experience.
If you’re unsure which surface is right for your project, we’re happy to talk through the pros and limitations of each option.
-
Yes! We work with homeowners, HOAs, contractors, parks, churches, schools, and private facilities. Each project is tailored to the level of use and budget.
-
For resurfacing, crack treatment, or cleaning, we can meet you at the court or visit independently if the site is publicly accessible. We carefully evaluate the surface condition and take precise measurements to provide you with an accurate proposal.
For new court builds, we coordinate with trusted asphalt or concrete partners to help plan the initial site work while remaining involved throughout the process.
